Exercise With a Baby

Having a baby changes everything. Your life is literally turned upside down. The freedom that you once had, to do anything you want, whenever you want, and wherever you want, is now largely restricted to what is expedient for your baby's needs.

Exercise is one of those things that seems to go out the window when a baby comes. Quite frankly, you are already physically exhausted by the end of the day, having to run after and keep up with a baby all day (and oftentimes) all night long. Double that if you have two kids!

Especially if you are a stay-at-home mom and you don't have the resources to drop your baby off at a babysitter or a daycare facility in order for you to spend a couple of hours a day at the gym, then finding the time to exercise can be extremely challenging, if not seemingly impossible. If you can't have someone watch your baby for you while you exercise, then what the heck, why not have the baby become part of your exercise routine?

What could be better than bonding with your baby while getting a good workout out of it at the same time? You’ll be killing two birds with one stone.

Not only that, but your exercise routine will be fun. Imagine integrating push-ups, situps, and lunges into a game that you and your baby can play together. Jennifer Nicole Lee, a mom-turned-fitness-model and a personal trainer, was featured on Oprah Winfrey, demonstrating some of the exercise routines that involved her and her baby.

What if I told you that you could have the body of a fitness model? It's way easier than you think!
